Overview
RakingPix is a Chrome extension developed by JopDev that helps users find, filter, organize, rename, and download images from the webpage they are currently viewing.
Information RakingPix processes
When you choose to scan the active webpage, RakingPix processes the page and image information needed to find and display image results. Depending on the page, this may include the page URL and title, image URLs, dimensions, alt text, and related source metadata.
RakingPix uses this information to provide scanning, filtering, selection, filename and folder previews, and downloading. This processing occurs in the extension and is limited to the page you choose to scan.
Extension storage
RakingPix stores settings and workflow state in browser-managed extension storage. This may include preferences, filter values, naming and folder options, tutorial state, theme choices, and recent scan or selection state. You can remove this data by clearing the extension's data or uninstalling the extension.
Image requests and downloads
Image previews and downloads may require Chrome to request image files from the webpage or the servers that host those images. Those servers may receive ordinary network information, such as your IP address and browser request details, under their own privacy policies.
Downloads occur only when you initiate them. RakingPix passes the selected image URLs, filenames, and folder paths to Chrome's download system so the files can be saved to your device.
Network services
Network activity may occur when Chrome loads image resources from their source servers, starts downloads, checks for extension updates, or opens a help or website link. RakingPix uses the resulting image content only to provide the feature you requested.
When you visit a JopDev webpage, the hosting provider may process standard request information needed to deliver the page, such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information.
Support communications
If you email support, JopDev receives the address you use and the contents of your message. This information is used to respond to and resolve your request and is retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes and related legal obligations.
Analytics and advertising
The current release does not include custom analytics or telemetry and does not use an advertising or ad-tracking provider. RakingPix does not maintain a historical log of your browsing activity.
Data sharing and selling
JopDev does not sell RakingPix user data. Information is shared only when needed to provide a user-requested function, operate the website or support channel, comply with law, or protect users, JopDev, and the public.
Security
RakingPix limits extension processing and storage to information needed for its features. No software, device, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as RakingPix changes. The updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
